Our hearts are calling us. It is our heart that beats, nearly without a sound, as we go about our every move and daily task. Yet, what would the heart ask and how would it answer, if put to these simple and sometimes challenging tasks? Moreover, if the heart is allowed and encouraged to lead, what kind of world could this be?
In this day and age, we seem to be guided to try to influence each other and we seem to be following others as we do this very task. However, what would the heart ask?
Our hearts are calling us.
Are we still wishing to follow movie stars, politicians and the advice of those seeking to influence us? Or, are we ready to begin to turn off the noise and listen to the innermost heart whisper?
Going for a long walk, communing in nature and simply taking our dog for a walk can be incredible acts of self love. It is these acts that can activate heart neurons in a meditative state. Our hearts long for these moments and deeply await them.
Sometimes we may think that we need set routines or daily rituals, yet following the heart’s flow makes each day new. As we enter into new experiences, through the heart, they transform and awaken us.
If we are to follow anything and anyone, there are a few guidelines:
- Our hearts comes first.
- Our Soul leads, guides and directs.
- If we choose to follow anyone and anything outside of this, then we must ensure that there are no monetary nor ulterior motives. Additionally, these people need to direct from a knowing that no one knows the truth. They may offer us suggestions, yet they must have put their egos and any possible ulterior motives to the side.
As an experiment, we can consider ‘unplugging’ from all forms of social media for days to weeks or even months at a time. Do we then hear our own inner voice again?
Meditation deepens as we turn off the outer noise. Today the outer noise is social media, politics, pressures to conform and anything that does now allow the heart to guide.
If we can find sincere ways to create more peace and heart contemplations, then we can also begin to unite more and more. The more we honor ourselves, the more we honor each other.
Let us remember that no one is right and no one is wrong. People have birthed here in very unique circumstances and no two people are fully alike. When we can allow others to make their own choices, they too will allow for us to do the same.
Life is really so simple. We complicate it only when we do not trust and live from our hearts. It only takes one person to begin something to inspire others. Find what that is for you. Turn off the noise and begin to get to know yourself anew.
This life is precious and it is a gift. There are so many beautiful things we can do such as making art, learning languages, writing books and poetry, calling dear loved ones and planting plants. Truly, the list goes on and on. When we put down our phones, stop scrolling and listen to our heart’s calling, the world listens.
Please take this moment to go within. Ask yourself, if I could do just one thing, what would it be? Would it make my heart sing? Breathe in and out of the heart and listen.
What has your heart shared with you today? Are you ready to live from this sacred space within and are you willing to follow your own unique path?
Please, always remember that you are a precious gift. You can feel into your unique presence and say, “now I will listen to you and I ask to be guided from my heart at each moment.”
You have arrived, and here is where you have always been. Our heart is our sacred home. When in doubt, remember to breathe in and out of the heart and love yourself more and more. There is no one like you and your gift wishes to be opened.
